Phone Scam Alert

Members have reported calls from “scam artists” using a fake Caller ID number that appears to be from Healthcare Systems FCU. Scammers can make any name or number show up on your caller ID. That’s called Spoofing. The scammer may also email or text claiming “there is a problem or investigation with your account” and ask you to click a link to resolve the problem.  

 

Healthcare Systems FCU will never contact you and ask for your password, PIN, one-time code, or other login information. We also never ask you to download software in an email or while you’re on the phone with us.

All money transfer applications are subject to this form of fraud; however, Zelle, a popular digital payment app, has been identified as a primary method to execute money transfer fraud.
