When you became a member of Healthcare Systems Federal Credit Union (FCU), you agreed to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Member Agreement. This Online and Mobile Service Agreement supplements the Member Agreement with regard to the particular details of using our products and services online or on a mobile device. BY USING OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES ONLINE OR VIA A MOBILE DEVICE, YOU ALSO AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS AGREEMENT.
Use of Content
The information and materials contained in the pages of Healthcare System FCU's web and mobile sites (the "Online Sites"), and Mobile Applications, and the terms, conditions, and descriptions that appear on those sites are subject to change at any time without notice. Not all products and services are available in all geographic areas. Your eligibility for particular products and services is subject to final Healthcare System FCU’s determination and acceptance. The information on the online sites should not be deemed an agreement; it should be considered an advertisement. Information on the online sites does not replace any agreements or disclosures which govern the credit union’s products and services. Should any information on the online sites conflict with Healthcare Systems FCU's agreements and disclosures, the agreement and disclosures will control.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The information, materials, and functions contained in our Online Sites, including text, graphics, links, or other items are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from computer virus(es).
Healthcare System FCU does not warrant the adequacy, accuracy or completeness of the information and materials included in our Online Sites or in third party sites linked to or from our Online Sites or that the functions provided will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Healthcare System FCU expressly disclaims any liability for any errors in or omissions from information, materials and functions included in our Online Sites or any third party sites linked to or from our Online Sites. Our online and mobile service will generally be available to you 24 hours per day, every day of the year except during periods of scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.
Linking to Other Sites
To provide you with easy access to information, PSCU may provide links to other websites such as mortgage companies, insurance companies, government agencies. These links are provided as a convenience to our members. We do not guarantee or endorse any of the content in these links, and PSCU does not represent either the third party or the member if the two enter into a transaction. The privacy and security policies on these linked websites may differ from those practiced by PSCU. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of all websites you visit, especially before providing any personal non-public information.
Timeliness of Postings
Amounts shown on the Online Sites as share account balances are provisional and subject to reversal if recent deposits are not collected from the institution upon which a deposited item is drawn, and in certain instances, recent transactions may not be reflected. Deposited and withdrawn amounts are also processed in batches at day's end, which may affect the order in which transactions appear on the Online Sites. Loan balances shown on the Online Sites may not reflect all recent activity. You are encouraged to keep track of your transactions and balances apart from what is reflected on the Online Sites.
Disclaimer of Liability
In no event will Healthcare System FCU be liable for any direct or indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits arising in connection with use of our Online Sites, any interruption in availability of our Online Sites, delay in operation or transmission, computer virus, loss of data, or otherwise, even if Healthcare System FCU has been advised of the possibility of such damages or loss.
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all hardware and software required to access the Online Sites, with the exception of applications you download from us in order to use our services (e.g. our Mobile App). Healthcare System FCU will not be liable for any direct or indirect, special, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of any hardware or software not obtained directly from Healthcare System FCU.
Your Online and Mobile Services Responsibilities
You agree to keep current any information about you, your computer, and your mobile device that you have given us in order to use our Online Sites.
You agree to take every precaution to ensure the safety, security and integrity of your account and transactions when using our Online Sites. You agree to exercise commercially reasonable precautions to protect your computer or mobile device from viruses, malware and other malicious applications by maintaining a current anti-virus and anti-malware service. You agree to exercise safeguards to protect your security login information, including without limitation, user name(s), password(s), and answers to security questions. You agree not to store non-public personal information, account, or personal data that might compromise the security of your financial relationship with us on your computer or mobile device.
You agree to notify us immediately if you lose, change or cancel the number of your registered mobile device. You agree to notify us immediately if you believe that your online or mobile accounts or device has been accessed in an unauthorized manner. In the event of compromise of your device, you agree to cancel the mobile service associated with the device immediately. You agree you will be responsible for all transactions and account activity conducted on your computer or mobile device by anyone you have authorized to do so.
Cookies
Cookies are pieces of information stored directly on the device you are using. Cookies we use do not contain or capture unencrypted Personal Information. Cookies allow us to collect information such as browser type, time spent on the site, pages visited, language preferences, and your relationship with us. We use the information for security purposes, to facilitate navigation, to display information more effectively, to personalize/tailor your experience while engaging with us, and to recognize your device to allow your use of our online products and services. We collect statistical information about the usage of the site in order to continually improve the design and functionality, to monitor responses to our advertisements and content, to understand how account holders and visitors use the site and to assist us with resolving questions regarding the site. We also utilize cookies for advertising purposes. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags, pixels, and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our website.
Google Analytics
Many websites and apps use Google services to improve their content. When they integrate Google services, these sites and apps share information with Google. We use Google Analytics to better understand how users are visiting and using our sites. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. Google Analytics collects the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Submissions
Information submitted to Healthcare System FCU through its Online Sites will become and remain the property of Healthcare System FCU. Healthcare System FCU will be free to use, for any purpose, any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in information provided to Healthcare System FCU through its Online Sites.
Healthcare System FCU will collect Online Site usage data to more efficiently offer our members appropriate financial products and services.
Healthcare System FCU will not be subject to any obligations of confidentiality regarding submitted information except as agreed to by Healthcare System FCU entity having a direct customer relationship or as otherwise specifically agreed to or required by law. Communications
You may communicate directly with Healthcare System FCU through our Online Sites, subject to the following conditions:
- You may not upload any information or material that violates any copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights of any person or entity.
- You must not include any obscene, libelous, or defamatory content in your communications.
You hereby indemnify and hold Healthcare System FCU harmless from any and all damages, losses, and liabilities arising from your communications with us through our Online Sites & Mobile Apps.
